Important Updates on CANDOR Integration

Integration Updates

As part of our integration process, we will be making some minor changes to the CANDOR product item codes and branding, which will apply to all CANDOR Bioscience ‘OEM’ products. 

What will remain unchanged? 

• The form, fit, or function of any products 

• The manufacturing entity, location, processes, and team members that build and ensure the quality of our products 

• Products will remain under the existing CANDOR Bioscience quality management systems and ISO13485:2016 certification 

What will be changing?  

Effective May 13, 2025, the following changes will come into effect:

1. Minor Change in CANDOR Bioscience Product Item Codes 

• • As part of CANDOR Bioscience’s migration to Medix Biochemica’s ERP system, we are updating our product item codes.
  • Item codes will now have the prefix “CR” and will no longer include “902”. Example: 100902-02 → CR100-02
  • Product descriptions will now include pack sizes (L): 1L, 10L, and 125ml (sample size).
  • “OEM” will be removed from product descriptions.

2. Change in Format of Product Specifications, Certificate of Analysis and Safety Data Sheet Documents 

• • These documents will be updated to Medix Biochemica’s standard templates and will now reflect the new item codes.
  • The Product Specification (formerly "Package Insert") will follow this new format.

3. Change in Branding and Logo  

• • As part of our global brand harmonization, these documents will now be branded as Medix Biochemica instead of CANDOR Bioscience.
  • Product labels will also feature the Medix Biochemica logo.

4. Change in Email Domain Names 

• • CANDOR Bioscience’s email system is migrating to Medix Biochemica email domain @medixbiochemica.com.
  • Existing CANDOR Bioscience email addresses will continue receiving emails beyond the May go-live date.
